Hedvig Mollestad Thomassen, organist Ståle Storløkken and drummer Ole Mofjell reconvene for Bitches Blues, a six-part instrumental album driven by instinctive interplay.

The music shifts between heavy rhythmic grooves, free improvisation and quieter, lyrical passages, moving from riff-led momentum to sudden eruptions of noise and spacious reflection.

Originally formed for a performance at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival, Weejuns build on the chemistry first heard on their self-titled live debut, with members drawn from Norway’s adventurous jazz scene, including Supersilent, Elephant9 and Krokofant.
